All Love Notions Sewing Patterns are digital downloads, you may print them at home or send to a copy shop. A physical pattern will not be mailed to you.

The Serenity Sweater is a great layering piece for cooler temperatures. Meant for knits, this sweater will be a great addition to your wardrobe. The crossover front can be adjusted with a simple button to bring it up or down as desired. Two lengths are included. The hip length hits at full hip while the cropped length is meant to hit just below the natural waist. The hip length can sewn with a straight hem at the back or a longer, curved hem. The cropped length has a straight back hem. This is a quick and satisfying sew that’s easy fitting as well as flattering.

I love this pattern!! It’s so easy to sew and perfectly slouchy to wear.

You get what you pay for. I’m an advanced beginner, not a totally green sewist. I’ve sewn my own traditional jean jacket that looks amazing. Yet, this pattern is worthless. After point 4, there is no other instruction as to what to do with the elastic and getting it sewn into a seam. You obviously do not answer YouTube questions as one question is there that was posted a year ago. “4. Open up the front and re-align the pieces so the elastic is between the two layers.” Ok, then what? pin it? sew it? What? There is nothing that will tell you what to do next with the front elastic hem. Also, what is RTS? I will never purchase another one of your patterns again, It’s like chucking $12 in the trash can and ruining purchased fabric.

Hi Briana, I’m sorry to hear you were disappointed in the pattern. This pattern is in the process of getting an update and I’ll definitely be re-doing the videos so they are more clear.
RST is right sides together (there is a key at the beginning of the sewing section).
To answer your question about the elastic- it is sewn on in step 3 using a three step zig zag stitch, there’s nothing else to do with that until hemming when the ends are encased with the side seam and hem.
We’ll be doing a sewalong with this pattern in just a couple weeks so hopefully that will help make things more clear as well. If you have any other questions please feel free to reach out to me by email and I’ll be sure to respond- [email protected]. I’m sorry I didn’t see the youtube questions, we’ve just very recently been putting more focus on that social media channel.
