The pictures are cute but I found the pattern frustrating. The instructions presumed a lot of knowledge about sewing, so it’s not actually beginner friendly. I’ve been sewing for 30+ years yet had a lot of trouble figuring out this pattern as it was written. Additionally, there are no instructions given as to what kind of fabric or how much of it to buy. My finished dress required a lot of improvisation, and doesn’t fit any of the 18″ dolls we have that well around the neckline. Again, it’s a cute idea, but it didn’t work out as pictured.
