Can I tell you my Octave story?
With the release of the new course, I wanna personally let you know a little more about my sewing situation.
I’ve been sewing for 5 years - and with LN and working for Tami for 4.5 of those, I think. The learning curve was STEEP at first. But you know what motivated and encouraged me to keep going and learning and tackling new and harder and more complex projects?
Tami.
I had her right next to me (often literally) so when I got to a tricky spot or made a mistake, she could show me the way and sort of hold my hand through the process. I didn’t get stuck and frustrated and discouraged nearly as often as I probably would have going it alone. Honestly, I might have even given up or missed out on some incredibly rewarding and exciting projects if I didn’t have a resource right there patiently showing me the way.
So I guess that’s why I think these courses are such a great idea. Just like me, you’ll have your own personal Tami helping you step by step, on your own time at your own pace.
And let’s be honest, Octave Coat is a stunner. I mean c’mon. Princess seams, that cool pocket design, the dramatic shawl/hood/lapel? All of it is gorgeous - buttttt it’s also got a lot of steps that can be tricky for less experienced sewists.
I tackled and succeeded at projects like this because I had confidence - and that might be something that you want too 💜
