The Dolce Dress is a sweet, simple dress meant for woven fabrics. The front features a button placket with the option to extend it into the gathered skirt. The dress is easy to get on and off with the elastic casing at the back. Use a fun contrasting fabric for the yoke detail on the back! Four sleeve styles are included- simple flutter, sleeveless, puff and short sleeve with the option to add a cuff. The dress is meant to hit at the knees. And we can’t forget the pockets! Simple patch pockets are included.

Pattern Formats Included:
- Print at home for US letter & A4 paper, trimless format with layers
- Large format file for copy shop printing. This file will print on one A0 (33″ x 46″) size sheet. Be sure to instruct your printer to print actual size in black and white on their cheapest paper. We recommend PDFPlotting for printing the large format files.
- A projector file is also included for those using projector technology

I made my daughter a lovely dress with this pattern. It was truly a joy to sew with great directions, as always with LN patterns. I love the gathered yoke and the gathered elastic waistband. They are subtle details that really add to such a sweet and simple pattern. I am planning to make her another very soon.

Have made this pattern for my granddaughter twice now. Makes an adorable pinafore dress! This is for a confident beginner since it has a gathered skirt, lined bodice and buttonholes but, the instructions are clear and detailed.

I have made the Dolce Dress at least a dozen times for one of my granddaughters. I gave her an option of all my patterns and she picked Dolce again and I made it last week. She loves it and I enjoy making it for her. I have a knit version with long a sleeve hack ready to sew now so that she has a winter version, hope it works. I think it is a easy for a confident sewist. (It would be nice if it actually had a long sleeve option.)
