I made one out of super plush for my daughter since she wanted a hoodie with a half zip, so her hair wouldnβt get messed up every time she takes it off. She loves it! Love Notion patterns are the best!

The Instructions are great, especially for the zipper. It looks good on my son and he wears it often during colder months.

I have made two of the Navigator pullover for my kids in fleece fabric. One with “game over” theme fabric with a hood for my son, and one unicorn version with the collar for my daughter for Christmas a couple years ago! They both loved them, and wore them often. The construction was straight forward, and the zipper was easier to put in than I thought. The finished result looked professional. They have both grown now. I need to make them larger versions. My daughter will stay in the Navigator size range, but my son is ready for the men’s North Star size range. I Love that this pattern is available , and customizable for the whole family! (I do wish it had a full zip option as my daughter had a hard time getting it off at school- kindergarten- on her own)

I made a hoodie for my teen son and he loves it!! It is his favorite go to shirt when it gets colder since I used fleece. He is already asking for more in different color combinations!
I consider myself an advanced beginner and was nervous because of the zipper and hood attachment. But the tutorial and video explanation are great and very helpful!! Great pattern and would highly recommend it!!

This pattern was so fun to make with all the fleece remnants and scraps that I had leftover from other projects. I enjoyed all the views that showed how others mixed and matched fabrics to give me ideas. I made 3 kids and one adult (constellation) for only the cost of the zippers and a couple of packages of binding. The pattern was easy to follow and the videos embedded showing how to do the zippers and hood made it a breeze. Plan to make more of these.

I purchased this pattern for my grandson and also used it for great nephews and other boys in my family! When I got around to making it from my granddaughter she loved it too! I learned so many new techniques in this pattern it inspired me to try more challenging patterns. There is a learning curve, but once mastered, you will feel so accomplished! You’ll want to make the Navigator for ALL the kids in your family!

I made the collar version of this pullover out of cotton velour for preteen grandsons a couple of years ago. They are t-shirt wearers and loves these in the colder months, especially for the easy on off ability. Couple years later made them for the younger granddaughters and made the constellation hoodie for older granddaughter. Great instructions, easy to follow with additional support if needed. Learning to embrace the PDF patterns; I print the pattern usually including three sizes than trace onto tissue paper. I find this more accurate in cutting than using the assembled paper pieces. Thank you Love Notions for borderless patterns.
