This is a awesome pattern with LOTS of great options! It looks flattering on all body types and is a quick sew 🙂 Just like the other Love Notions patterns I have it has clear directions and photos, it also has the option to print just your size (which I LOVE) you will not be disappointed by this pattern!!!

The pattern was very easy to put together and the top is really fast to make. It is extremely flattering and the multiple patterns in one is a bonus. I’ve had this pattern for two and a half weeks and have already made myself three of these tops.

I made this as a cardigan with some ribbed knit that I had. I just love it. The cardigan wraps so nicely and I can pin it closed at the neckline. Open, it has beautiful drape. This is a really versatile pattern that is quickly becoming a staple for me.

Bought this pattern as my first Love Notions pattern and my first delve into sewing with a knitted fabric. This is a great pattern which fits really well and gives great results. I cannot fault these patterns, especially for us larger ladies!

My daughter-in-law picked this out as a top she’d like to have. I was concerned that it might be tricky, but not so! I’m amazed at how quickly it comes together and the end result is amazing. I used my coverstitch on the handkerchief hem and it turned out perfectly. I’m now getting ready to make a little Origami for my granddaughter – Mommy and Me Christmas presents!

Ladies, if you are avoiding this pattern because of concerns that the extra fabric around the hips will emphasize the wrong parts of your figure — DON’T BE!! I avoided making this pattern for the longest time thinking the hanky hem will make my already big hips look enormous — not so! The KEY is to choose the right fabric. You really need something with excellent drape for this pattern … think thin knit jersey with a rayon component. Surprisingly, the swing and movement at the hem actually disguises rather than emphasizes my hips. Being 5 ft 2, I did shorten the bodice by about 2 inches and also the hem by about 1.5 inches. The pattern seems to be missing the shorten/lengthen line but it was not hard to figure out (just cut the bodice across and overlap to shorten). I left the hem raw for a super easy sew, only about an hour from start to finish! The neckband was a bit too wide for my taste though. Next time I will narrow that piece from the 2.5 inches specified to 2″. This is just about as perfect a pattern as you can get. Plus, that trimless assembly! Layers! Print only your own size, over and over again without messing with tissue paper pieces that rip and you inevitably misplace! Love Notions makes the most user friendly digital sewing patterns. I cannot thank you enough.

This is probably my favorite pattern. I’ve made it, modified it, and made it again. It’s a perfect work-wardrobe staple. Want to be cozy? Check. Want to look polished? Check. Want to turn less expensive fabric into a star garment? Check. I’ve just bought fabric to make two more, in lighter weights, for summer.

Messed up my first attempt when I failed to pay attention to the different neckline cuts for the front and back cardigan pieces! Second attempt was much better, used a light striped knit, which probably wasn’t the brightest idea but actually with the lovely drape of the cardigan my less than perfect stripe matching isn’t noticeable at all 🙂 Pay attention to the cutting instructions and you will breeze through this make. Definitely plan on making more of these cardigans.

This is quite a simple pattern and easy to style up or down. I made mine with a minimal stretch velvet, so I sized it up one size and it was perfect, I wore the blazer on formal night on a cruise we took in 2022.

I absolutely love the unique hemline on this pattern. Plus it’s versatile with the open and closed options!

This is such a nice cardigan/ coverup I have sewn twice in stretch shimmery velvet for a formal night on a cruise. I love the perfect corners easy flow of the pattern that can easily be worn over a dress as a coverup.
