The Bridget Trousers are designed for heavy weight stable knit fabrics such as ponte, jacquard, interlock, scuba, double knit, or Liverpool. These trousers combine a polished, professional look with everyday comfort. Featuring a high rise that sits at the natural waist, they are fitted through the hips and thighs with a straight leg silhouette. Back darts create shaping, while slash pockets add practicality. Choose between a functional or faux welt pocket for a classic finish.
This pattern includes three inseam lengths, a full belly option and a full seat option to fit and flatter a wide range of body types. Available in sizes 0–32, the Bridget Trousers pattern is perfect for creating trousers that look sharp enough for the office while feeling as comfortable as your favorite knits.

I made a pair in black scuba suede that I usually take to work and every time I wear it people say they love them and the fit. And it is so funny because they are black but they truly fit awesome and give such a refined look, but the sewing process was great. There are videos of the tricky parts.

These were my first pants ever….and they turned out great. I’m curvy and appreciate the ‘built in’ fully belly option. I only had to make a slight adjustment to the waist to make them perfect for me. Love this pattern!

I love the fit and styling of these trousers. The welt pockets are very like the high end ready to wear. What a fun sew!
