The girls’ La Bella Donna was part of a bundle I purchased. I bought it specifically to use a border knit print and the pattern was perfect for the purpose. It’s a quick sew with clean simple lines and yields excellent results. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to sew the women’s version for me.

Not a great style on my skinny girls, but I am keen to try again in a slightly different style, I love the cowl and hood options- makes it a year round option. I would love to get the ladies version for me!! 🙂 As with all LN patterns she makes it easy and uncomplicated 🙂

I’ve made this shirt for my 10 year old and it’s dreamy! I did a mod on the hood to make it lined with a contrasting fabric and it worked really well! She gets a lot of compliments on it!

This is such a fun pattern that comes together quickly and easily. My daughter likes the tunic length to wear with leggings. The instructions were clear and the pattern was easy to work with.

I’ve used this pattern in the girls sizing. It’s such a quick sew with a classic style. My most recent one was a short sleeve that I shortened to a high hip length to showcase the summer caye pants which I made to coordinate.
Julia Doucett –
Such a fun and quick tunic to sew, and my cousins loved it! I made size 3 with long sleeves.

Made a 3/4 sleeve with cowl neck for my niece in matching fabric to my Raglan, she loves that we match. 🙂

I used this pattern to make kids’ costumes for All Saints Day this fall (sizes 3T and 5T). The instructions were comprehensive and easy to follow, and the pattern was simple enough to customize. The sizing was accurate as well!
Julie Hogan –
This is a really cute pattern and the toddler sizes use very very little fabric! The sizing was very generous in the body, but definitely not in the long sleeves — I’ll be widening the extended cuff next time.
