I just finished this and I love it. It fits perfectly and feels wonderful. I added patch pockets and also made a stand alone LDT cowl to go with (or not, depending on the chill). I very much appreciate the no trimming required PDF and the attention to detail. I always know if something’s not working with a LoveNotions pattern, it’s because I did something wrong. (Case in point the collar band on this shirt. It was not fitting in well and then I realized, I had not cut the band out with the stretch in the correct direction. Cut a new band and… perfect!) This is going to be a TNT pattern for me. I see all sorts of future iterations.

Love this! I altered mine to be more fitted, but absolutely LOVE how all of my Love Notions tops fit in general. I don’t have to grade up (as is normal of other designers) and they always fit great! Thanks for another wonderful pattern <3

  3. Patty

I’ve been looking for a raglan and I’m so glad I waited for you to release one!

  4. Marlene (verified owner)

I’ve been wanting a raglan sleeve to make some long sleeved tops and this one is great. Easy pattern and really easy to follow instructions. Love the fit of all my Love Notion patterns I’ve tried.

  5. Lea (verified owner)

Great fit, and such a quick sew.

  6. Darlene Blount (verified owner)

I’ve purchased so many Love Notions patterns, but I’ve made this raglan the most so far. Easy and quick sew. Looks great!

  7. Debi Mager (verified owner)

I’ve made several Rockford Raglans – multiple different views. I love patterns that offer so many options that each one I make looks different than the others!

  8. Heather Jones

The LN Rockford Raglan is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE ladies raglan pattern out there! The curve of the arms is spot on perfect fitting and the drafting is great for every size! LOVE!

  9. Lizel Schwartz (verified owner)

Love the raglan sleeve. Easy to make excellent fit and good instructions. I’ve made a couple of these already and there will be more to come.

  10. Carla Montanez (verified owner)

I donโ€™t know why I waited so long to get this pattern! I tried the short sleeve version! It was so quick and easy I made four more! Canโ€™t wait to make one with long sleeves!

  11. Michelle Telin (verified owner)

What a great everyday wear raglan pattern. I opted to sew the asymmetrical hem option using a sequined top layer and a coordinating solid color everywhere else. It turned a basic raglan into a top I am proud to wear to work and more!

  12. kathleenniemerg (verified owner)

The Rockford Raglan is a quick sew and a forgiving fit. Great for both beginners and advanced sewers that want a quick and satisfying project. My favorite style is long sleeve with banded arms and waist.

  13. jen.bussie (verified owner)

The Rockford Raglan was an easy pattern to follow & very quick to sew. Iโ€™m absolutely loving my first one & have many more in mind to make.

  14. Karen Swanson (verified owner)

This pattern has so many options! I made a black and white stripe shirt with solid black 3/4 length sleeves. It was quick and easy and I wear the shirt all the time. I’ll be making many, many more!

  15. cj_dorn (verified owner)

I’ve sewn this in the short-sleeve and 3/4 sleeve versions of the swing style. One in shirt length and one tunic. They are super cute under a cardigan or jean jacket. I love the fit and ease of assembly. It was a great learning project with usable tops that I grab as quickly as they come out of the wash.

  16. Vicki Mullis (verified owner)

I’ve made two, and see many more in my future!! LOVE how the tunic fits!! Really easy pattern

  17. mindyclagett (verified owner)

So quick and easy to make, and very nice looking. The fit guide and instructions make this pattern an easy win for beginners. I have made 2 already, with plans to make more.

  18. Pat Semeraro (verified owner)

I have made 4 of these tops and love them all. I use 2 of them as pj tops and the others for going out. I love how easily they sew together and the instructions are excellent. Love Notions patterns are by far some of the easiest patterns to put together too!

Love this pattern! Easy to fit, easy to sew, easy to wear!

  21. laurak4035 (verified owner)

I never thought I as a raglan top person until I tried this pattern, wow the fit is amazing! The full bust piece is truly an absolute game changer, no raglan top has ever fitter me properly before but with the full bust piece the fit was spot on with no adjustments needed anywhere.

  22. lynzham (verified owner)

Such an easy fit and sew! I whipped out 3 in no time. Love it and you will too!

  23. Liz LeFevre (verified owner)

I love the Rockford Raglan. It is my go-to pattern for making themed t-shirts for school spirit days, trips to Disneyland, or coordinating with the kids’ birthday party theme. It makes a great canvas for stenciling or vinyl. I also made a dressier version with DBP – well, dressy for me!!

  24. Vicki Mullis (verified owner)

I cannot say enough about this pattern! So easy and quick. Love that I can change the look with contrasting sleeves. I have several in my closet and plan on several more!

  25. wpeck (verified owner)

I love this pattern, both the look and the fit. I’ve made several.

  26. Amy Blough (verified owner)

A really great raglan pattern with a flattering scoop neckline. I can’t say enough how much I appreciate the full bust adjustment pieces included in the patterns, such a time saver for a perfect fit. This pattern also has a lot of options, which makes it such a great value!

  27. mcmahe (verified owner)

I was rather puzzled about how to do an fba in raglans, but as always Love Notion to the rescue! First shot with the full-bust piece provided came out fitting perfectly, now I can use those too-small bits of beloved fabrics to make something wearable.

  28. kathkreth (verified owner)

I love this raglan top pattern! I’ve made it with sleeves from the same fabric as front/back and with contrasting fabric sleeves. Great fit! Easy to follow instructions!

  29. lwlamona (verified owner)

Having made the LDT twice and being a late bloomer for making those two, I knew I wanted to try the Rockford Ragalan. I made this pattern in February ’23. I used a rust-colored knit fabric from my stash. I like the fitted ease of the shoulder and bust with the looseness falling under the best. I failed to raise the neckline, not a fault of the pattern but just my personal preference. I did attach the neckband but it just did not work for me. I cut the neckband off resulting in a lower neckline, not what I was going for. I decided to use the cowl neck from the LDT which worked perfectly making the neckline to my liking.

  30. jlworden (verified owner)

This pattern was such a quick and easy sew. I made two in sweater type knits and they were so warm and comfy! The fit was perfect with the cowl neck, havenโ€™t tried it with the other neckline but that is next. So many options to try! Thank you Love Notions again!

  31. laurak4035 (verified owner)

I have never liked raglan tops before trying this pattern, I am a raglan convert now. This is the perfect layering tee for cooler weather. I have replaced all my store bought long sleeve tops with rockford raglans now and just love them all.

  32. Erin (verified owner)

The fit on this one is very oversized on me but it does have a lot of options. Itโ€™s great for a lounge shirt or pajama top.

  33. Maria Martinez (verified owner)

Have made a few of these already and planning some more

  34. violentlyserene (verified owner)

As always, the fit on this is so good especially with the included fba option.

  35. Pauline Marsh (verified owner)

Really great pattern…it fits well and the instructions are easy to follow…..a very quick make as well. I love the styling and as I have narrow sloping shoulders, so. nice to have something that doesn’t require extensive alteration……and fits really well.
That just might be why I have just finished my 5th one!!

  36. Hannah Keller (verified owner)

I love this raglan pattern! Iโ€™ve made several out of rib knits. Theyโ€™re so comfy and perfect for South Carolinaโ€™s mild winters when you need the sleeves but nothing too heavy. Plus they fit my 9 month preggo belly with zero adjustments! Thatโ€™s a win!! I also followed Tessaโ€™s tutorial to hack the raglan into a dress and they made the comfiest maternity dresses! Love this one!!

  37. teresa miller (verified owner)

This is a great pattern. It goes together so quickly and is so comfortable to wear!!

  38. Chantal Da Fonseca (verified owner)

Love this pattern. Easy to make and it has become my favourite top. Can’t wait to make more.
