I am never going to buy pants from the store again! Love the options in this pattern and the instructions are fantastic! I have already made 4 pairs and I can see myself making a lot more in future!

  2. Abby (verified owner)

Instructions were clear, but I did not like the fit of the pants. They were to tight in the hips.

  3. mommurri08 (verified owner)

My granddaughters love the pants I made them from this pattern! So easy, too!

  4. Christin Cartwright

Love these pants. Nice fit up top. Very comfy

  5. Leah Bryan (verified owner)

Clear instructions, and easier assembly than I anticipated (I did skip the pockets, was a little intimidated to try those on my first time around). The pants came out beautifully, and she’s loving them!

The directions were easy to follow, though I’m not sure that I lined up the waistband correctly. It ended up looking ruffled at the top back, but when the elastic is extended, it is hardly noticeable. I have only tried a muslin with the 5T pants, and I used a suiting fabric scrap. I chose back pockets only and simple hem to test the fit. I think a lighter weight knit would create a better overall look, but I’m curious to keep practicing with wovens and will try a few more variations of hems. I read through the tulip hem tutorial and it looks way easier than I initially thought! Overall, the fit is decent and the directions are very clear (especially for someone who is new to patch pockets— those turned out beautifully!). I just recommend making a muslin first!
