  1. Caroline

Spectacular collection. True to size and the pattern is easy to follow on all skirt styles. (I am a L/XL with belly pouch and ample bottom.) 🙂 Love that it’s in layers so I can print out just my size. These are all skirts that will be a staple in my wardrobe for years to come. I’ve already made three and I can’t wait to make more!

  2. catjohnson

This is such an awesome pattern! Great fitting skirts in adorable styles. The pattern is easy to put together and the instructions are super clear, making it possible to put together a skirt quickly that turns out perfectly! Would totally recommend this pattern.

  3. Laura

What an amazing pattern! Made just the one so far but I am in love! Fits perfectly and it was super easy to put together. Thanks so much!

  4. nitelily3

There are so many options for the skirt you are bound to have several, if not all, fit your body type. This pattern got me back into wearing skirts!

  5. linestrada

Love, love , love this ! Don’t think I’d ever need to buy another knit skirt pattern. Tami has cornered the market on knit skirt patterns

  6. Stephanie

I ADORE this skirt pattern!!! It is the ultimate skirt collection all in one pattern and the last knit skirt pattern you’ll need to buy! The drop yoke is my favorite, but all of them are fabulous. The pencil skirt is the best-fitting pencil skirt pattern I’ve tried. I’ve been disappointed with many others. Get this pattern! You won’t regret it.

  7. samsam7700

I’ve only made the pencil skirt thus far but I am so glad that I purchased this pattern. The only reason that I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the pencil skirt is a little wider at the bottom than one expects in a pencil skirt which makes the skirt look a little more a line than I like. I was able to modify this by tapering the skirt in from the lower thigh area to the bottom.

  8. Sara

In general, I love how LN patterns go together. The organization of the instructions, etc. is also well put together with much thought given. I have only made the pleated version and have the gore version printed to put together. According to the measurement chart I am a small and the skirt fits perfectly per the chart. I’m 5′-6″ and the length is perfect however lengthen/shorten lines are provided if needed. There is so much value in this pattern as the pencil skirt will be the third I will make from this pattern and love that I didn’t have to make a single pattern adjustment.

  9. Sarah

There are so many options packed into this pattern! The instructions make it easy to get a good fit.

  10. Victoria

This is, by far, my most worn pattern in my current wardrobe. I have at least 6 pencil skirts (that I can make with a YARD, yes one yard) of fabric. It allows me to be professional and feel good about myself. With the tummy control option I can keep my mom bod in check and feel great. I’ve also made the pleated version and paired it with the Tessa Sheath Dress bodice. I could go on and on about how I love this pattern. From the endless options to the trimless pages, it is WELL worth your money.

  11. Zulma

Simply awesome! All the options included and it can be mashed with the Tessa dress <3!! As always a great pattern and super cute!

  12. Anne

I love all the variations in this pattern. It’s a whole skirt wardrobe in one. I’m just searching for the perfect fabric to sew one up!

  13. Evelyn

Love the hidden control panel, after 2 kids, oh I need this!

  14. Christina

Love how versatile this pattern is. Definitely a staple in my wardrobe.

  15. Trista

Love all the options. It’s the only pattern I need to make office wear for my new job.

  16. clsmclean

This is my go to pattern for any skirt I want to make! I personally love the swing skirt and the pleated skirt! It is perfect! The directions are easy to follow and this pattern is so versatile for all the different styles! Thanks!

  17. ashley

This is by far the best skirt pattern I have bought. There is tons of options and the directions are very well done! 🙂

  18. Andrea Wirtanen

Such a awesome skirt pattern. So many options and cute styles. Great directons. I have made many of the pencil skirt and love them. Look forward to trying some of the other styles.

  19. Shayla

Just whipped up a pencil skirt–couldn’t be easier! Medium fit perfectly without any adjustments. The results looked fabulous! Pattern is versatile, well drafted, and printed well. Instructions are straight forward and easy to follow.

  20. Sandra

Love this versatile pattern with easy to follow instructions! Have made the box pleat version but looking forward to trying out the others too.

  21. mommurri08

So many options with this pattern! Easy instructions, and great fit!

  22. karen.korby

Great pattern! I made the asymmetrical skirt and it came out looking so professional! Will definitely try some of the other versions – so many choices in one pattern!

  23. llowe7428

So many options! I love love this pattern.

  24. Brenda

Great pattern with SO many options! This is one of the first pdf patterns I bought and tried and I so pleasantly surprised with how well the skirt fit – the instructions include directions for how to choose your size, which fabrics to use, etc. Great pattern.

  25. jlyofmo

This is 1 of my favorite skirts!!! It is so versatile for whatever your needs are!!

  26. schroeder1987

Made the pencil skirt with a striped navy and white liverpool. It is such a classic look that pairs well with most of my LN tops. You could make a summer capsule with this pattern, the Classic Tee and the Allegro’s. As always well drafted and great instructions.

  27. Heather Hahn

Very flattering and quick make! Helpful fitting tips included.

  28. Nancy Karpen

I made the gored skirt in a wonderful merino wool double knit from the Fabric Store. I lengthened it to a maxi and it’s wonderfully swishy and looks great. The only alterations I made was to lengthen it and adjust the waist so that it hung evenly from my very uneven waist I am planning on making the faux wrap skirt next. This is a great pattern with so many choices!

  29. Tammy Isaacs

I love this pattern. I am a beginner and found this pattern easy to assemble. I love the variety styles that came with it. I look forward to making more.

  30. Lorraine

I made the gored version because I wanted to add a fairly high slit (mid thigh) to wear with docs and a graphic tee. It worked perfectly! The instructions are great – I’d recommend this as a terrific base knit skirt pattern since it has so many options.

  31. Julie Boylan

Asymmetry – check. Knit fabric comfort – check. Control panel option – check plus!

  32. jen.bussie

I’m made several of these for my girls for school. They absolutely love them! I’ve got to make myself a couple now. Very easy pattern to sew super quick – had 4 made in a couple hours

  33. king.kelley

Easy Peasy. This is a simple, well constructed pattern with so many options, you don’t need another skirt pattern. The pdf is in layers so you print just your own size. The skirt comes together nicely with illustrated instructions. Love Notions has the BEST beginner patterns.

  34. Heather

This may be my favorit LoveNotions pattern! Ok maybe. . . I have so many favorites! I have used this pattern to create every kind of skit I could even imagine! So many lengths, styles and options. My friends all asked for skirts of their own and my son in law had me make him a Halloween costume skirt! Once again LoveNotions provides easy versatility in a wonderful pattern!

  35. sweetrthnsunshine

Super easy and comfy pattern! Tried out the midi-length swing skirt to wear while pregnant (sized up one in the waistband). Can’t wait to try out some of the other styles when I’m back to a regular size!

  36. Mic Cas

So many styles to choose from this one pattern,

  37. karynkemp37

I love this pattern with all it’s variations. My favorite is the Aline. It makes such an easy summer skirt.

  38. abbott.heather

So many options, so little time! And they are all wonderful!

  39. shirley jarrett

So happy with this pattern as it is a quick sew & fits to a “T”

  40. Jennifer Berkich

My go to pattern for skirts. You can’t beat the classic pencil skirt. Basic but such a necessary pattern for anyone’s stash.

  41. Cheryl Pearson

I couldn’t sleep so got up at midnight and decided to make this skirt- swing style. 45 minutes later it was done using only my serger! I couldn’t believe how simple it was to make. My only regret is not making it sooner as I’ve had the pattern for awhile now and had wanted this style all summer. I’m definitely making several more immediately! Great fit too, as always with LN patterns.

  42. Diane Kinney

I’ve made 2 Sybil’s, a pencil and an a-line. Quick, easy sew, can be done entirely on your serger. The pencil doesn’t take much fabric, I made it from leftovers from a Sabrina Slims make. Good projector file.

  43. powejj01

I love a pattern with lots of options! I’ve made two versions of it and have more planned!

  44. Kathryn King

A staple: whenever I need a skirt in a hurry, this is the pattern I turn to for myself and my daughters. Once your size is traced, it’s finished in less than an hour. So many styles and options–we appreciate the two lengths for each skirt style!

  45. laurak4035

Pencil skirts have never worked on my figure, somehow they always end up being the exact opposite of flattering, so when I made myself a test version of the Sybil pencil skirt I was not expecting to ever wear that skirt. Well, it is AMAZING and so flattering! I have worn that test skirt so many times and have now made several more, such a wonderful pattern.

  46. Beth St Laurent

One of my favorite skirt patterns- even has pockets as an option. I have made multiple variants of this- fit true to size. I make everything with pockets- so I even made a pencil version with pockets- word to those trying this- find a horizontal pocket to place along the waistback for the pencil- do not use the pockets in the pattern. It even says not to use for pencil (which I ignored!). The vertical on seam pocket pulls, (which in my mind I knew it would). Listen to the pattern directions- they know better than you- I promise! But I still love all of my sybils, even the pencil with the deficient pocket- they look so professionally made!

  47. odyjimg

The Sybil skirt collection is a stand alone TNT pattern. Once I bought it, I have not had to use another knit skirt pattern. These skirts are so flexible to go with any style tops or jackets. I love that they are so easy to hack on to other patterns for great variation that are so easy to be creative. The fit is wonderful, and the direction great.

  48. Nicole Martin-Schallhorn

Great pattern to get with the variety of skirt styles included. I’ve only made the pencil skirt so far but have plans for many more.

  49. thered.sarah

I love this pattern/patterns. It really is several in one so great value and very versatile. I have trouble wearing woven skirts due to IBD but these are so comfy and forgiving I can wear skirts happily again.

  50. michelle.fisk

This skirt pattern is a must have! I found it to be true to size. So far I have made only one. But just started on the pleated version. Great instructions too!

  51. michelle.fisk

This skirt pattern is a must have! I found it to be true to size. So far I have made only one. But just started on the pleated version. Great instructions too!

  52. Miranda Haas

My daughters and I enjoy this skirt collection. There are so many different options! Also, the sizing is perfect and the directions are clear and easy to follow.

  53. Sally Holmes

I love this pattern so much, so many styles to make. my personal favorites so far are the pencil and A-line

  54. Karen-Lee Schutte

Brilliant pattern – so many choices. I never used to wear skirts until I met Sybil. I now have and wear 2 pencil skirts. One in Scuba and one in Ponte and I wear them all the time. I have a LDT top to go with each made in crinkle knit. You cannot go wrong with this one.

  55. adkchair

This is a great pattern. I made the pencil skirt and it came together perfectly. I haven’t sewn in years and am new to sewing knits but the instructions were simple to follow. I made a medium, which aligns with my measurements, using a poly/spandex blend. The fit was perfect. The pockets are roomy enough for a cell phone. I will note that I am only 5’1′, so I thought I might need to adjust the length, but it hit my knees without adjustment.

  56. Marion Lacny

A love, love the Sybil skirt pattern. I have made the gored and swing patterns and they were easy and turned out lovely. The directions were very easy to follow.

  57. Rene Lewthwaite

Absolutely love this pattern. It has so many options and is a really easy sew. I don’t buy rtw skirts as they never fit due to the fact I have a small waist and carry most of my weight in my hips/bum area (around 2 sizes difference between them). So easy to grade between sizes to get the perfect fit and this is now a staple in my wardrobe.

  58. Tammy Isaacs

I love all the different options with this skirt pattern. It is very easy to sew and to me it is a fast sew. This is the pattern that I go to when I am wanting a new look. With all the different options you can dress it up or you can go for casual look.

  59. ekrisinger

I love mashing Sybil options with the Tessa dress – infinite combinations!

  60. Debbie Atkinson

I have so many Sybil A-line skirts and love them, just got done with the midi A-line. I did make a pencil skirt and it ended up way too tight, but I think it’s because the fabric had so much recovery.

  61. deb.ingley

I just love this skirt! I made the A-line version out of ponte. I tried it on and took it in slightly before sewing on the waistband. A very quick and satisfying sew.
