This classic jeans styling with zip fly is so fun to create and make your own with details like rivets and topstitching. I made my first pair of jeans!! And they fit!!! I was always too intimidated to make pants with a fly front but it was quite simple – I just took it step by step. I love the topstitching and rivet details. On my next pair, I want to try some decorative stitches on the back pockets. Great pattern, Love Notions!

Have always wanted to make some jeans & after reading all the positive reviews I thought I would give them a try.
I loved the whole process, following the very good instructions, doing a zip fly & especially the top stitching. On the whole very rewarding, and they are a great fit.
I have now made 2 pairs

Woohoo! ???? This pattern made one of my dreams come true. I made real jeans with rivets and topstitching. They fit and look great. My daughter said, โWow, Mom, they look legit!โ So I made two more and have more fabric waiting to become number 4. I purchased the class also. Very helpful.

I’m new to Love Notions Patterns, but not to sewing. The instructions in these patterns are easy to
follow. Installing the zipper was a breeze per their directions. This pattern is well thought out. Measurements are right on. I really like that they give different inseams for different types of bodies.

I’ve always wanted to make myself jeans. I tried the Legato pattern and fell in love. My first pair of jeans and they fit well. I was shocked. Jeans don’t have to be difficult to make. I would highly suggest you try this pattern. I will definitely be making more jeans in the future.

I just love this pattern so much. I have made 3 already and my latest one is the one that fits the best. The first 2 I made were not the correct fit for me, but this was entirely my own fault. I made the tall pattern even though I am fit into the standard size, the length was perfect for me, but the rise was too long. The 2nd pair I used the standard pattern and it fit perfectly all over, but was not long enough for my liking (once again nothing to do with the pattern, completely the nut behind the sewing machine. The latest pair are by far the best ones and the only adjustments I made was the length as I do not like ankle length jeans (which is the design of this pattern). I am going to be making another pair soon with a slightly stretchier denim as I prefer having a little more give than the previous pair. As a rule all LN pants patterns seem to suit my figure well and I don’t really have to make any adjustments. I definitely recommend this jeans pattern
