The Pianoforte Jumper is meant for layering and is perfect for any season! The jumper (or ‘pinafore’ as our international friends call it) is meant for woven fabrics like denim, cordurory and twill type fabrics. The jumper comes with two options- a solid center front and a zipper center front option. Both options offer a built-in full bust option.
The roomy pockets are a must and the princess seams give you some definition in a straight fitting garment. The jumper is meant to hit a couple inches above the knee which make it a perfect pairing with your favorite pair of boots and tights!

Pattern Formats Included:
- Print at home for US letter & A4 paper, trimless format with layers
- Large format file LAYERED for copy shop printing. This file will print on 4 A0 (33″ x 46″) size sheets. Be sure to instruct your printer to print actual size in black and white on their cheapest paper. We recommend PDFPlotting for printing the large format files.
- A projector file is also included for those using projector technology

I made two versions, one in corduroy and one in jacquard. I love both! The princess seams give a great look, it is perfect for fall layering and even winter. I love that it has a lining on the top because the V neck looks better and it is not hard to sew at all!

Just finished this in a tweed plaid, muted browns and grays with a little black.Used an Italian wool/angora fabric. Turned out spectaclar! The ,pattern was right on sizing. I used a medium with a blend toward a large in the hips. Fit is great. The only addition I did was to add a lining before completing the side seams since its a wool. Just attacted it to the bottom edge of the facing, both in the front and back. I used the garment itself as the pattern for the lining. Viola! A fully lined wool jumper made in 1 day. Next make in this pattern will be a wide wale steel blue cordaroy to show the beautiful lines and top stitching. Great job Love Notions, another winner!
