How to sew a v-neck video tutorial

You’ve asked and we have listened! You have been asking for a v-neck video tutorial on the Laundry Day Tee. And it’s here now! If you prefer a picture tutorial, we have that too, here, along with a cheater method v-neck.

Necklines can be tough.

And attaching a neckband is often one of the most difficult steps in sewing a pattern together. While there are many different types of necklines, one of the most flattering is the V-neck. There is something about the design that elongates and just plain looks good on nearly every body type. So, learn all about how to get this classic look and incorporate it into some of your most used patterns.

Rayon Spandex (my favorite) and I practiced what I preached by remembering to work with the stripe pattern, sew from the inside out and use a tiny scrap of interfacing at the tip of the v.
