I love this pattern, I’ve already made 3! Fairly easy for a beginner, just have to pay attention when assembling the band. I love the hood and pockets. A great cozy basic for over everything!

Great staple for my teaching wardrobe! I’ve made a few Fraser’s with French terry and love the results. Great pockets for holding all the kids’ “treasures” ????

I love the Fraser Cardigan pattern. So much that I have already made 3. It is fairly easy, the only tricky part I found was the band especially with the hood option. When I just slowed down and laid it out it was much clearer. I highly recommend this pattern. A great cozy basic for over everything!

I have made a few of these! It’s my go to sweater pattern!

Made this for my mom’s birthday when she was coming into town. Decided to make it and 2 hours later it was done. I guessed at her size and made it in CL and it was a PERFECT fit. Such a fast and beautiful sew. My mom wore it every day she was visiting. Pieces fit together beautifully and clear instructions on how to construct. Can’t wait to make one for me!

The Fraser cardigan is a great pattern. The only confusion I had was with the back neck band piece on the plain version, I thought I had attached it upside down but it was correct after all. I made it in a lightly brushed cotton spandex as a light coverup as we live in a hot tropical climate and don’t get much of a winter.

I have made this pattern twice and will make it many more times! It is very flattering and makes a terrific cardigan. I did one in a black waffle knit and the other in a patterned knit. I did shorten it by an inch and I am glad I did, because I am now 5’4″.

I made this for my sister as a gift. Before it was finished, she asked for another! She uses it as a travel garment that goes with everything.

  9. Erin (verified owner)

This is my favorite cardigan pattern. The pockets are huge and the fit is perfect.

My favourite cardigan! Fun to put together, and so flattering once it’s done. And sizeable pockets as a cherry on top!
